You talk to an Echo, never the person

Every conversation here is with what we call an AI Echo: an AI voice shaped by a figure's own writing, letters, and documented ideas, brought into a conversation you can have today. It draws on the real work, and it stays an interpretation. Not the person, not a recording, and never presented as either.

That honesty is built into the surfaces, not stated once and forgotten. Portraits are labeled as AI-generated images. Voices are labeled as synthetic Echo voices, because no recordings of most of these people exist at all. And every figure carries a public factcheck naming what is documented and what is reconstructed, so you can always see the seam between history and interpretation. Six ways to learn from one person
